Guesthouse Kakkaramäki offers an alternative to affordable accommodation in Kangasniemi. Guesthouse rooms are former apartments for teachers and school staff and the rooms are named after them – each room has its own story. In Guesthouse you will find references to former school times, as old desks, maps, etc. which have been used in the decoration of the rooms.

The Guesthouse is surrounded by a beautiful rural landscape. If you wish it is nice to come and enjoy a piece of idyll for one, two, or more nights at our Guesthouse! Our Guesthouse operates on a self-check-in basis, so it is easy to arrive at any time! To make your stay even more memorable, combine our guided nature activities with your visit or rent equipment for independent exercise or boating.

Guesthouse Kakkaramäki accommodates a total of 20 guests. The rooms are at other side of the school building, and at the other there are the old classrooms that are udes as meeting and celebration facilities. There is a separate sauna building in the yard, which we call Paljupytinki. It is also possible to rent Paljupytinki for various occasions.

The accommodation is located on two floors and there are shared sauna and bathroom facilities in the basement. The living floors have a shared kitchen and toilet, which are available for those staying on the same floor. To ensure comfortable accommodation for everyone, we hope guests will follow the instructions of our Guesthouse.
