From almost every window and from the very big terrace of cottage Eemilin huvila you can admire the beautiful views of Lake Puula. This is possible because the cottage is situated on the tip of a point. The cottage offers high-quality settings and solitude for a relaxing holiday in the middle of the Finnish Lakeland. All year round.
The yard and the beach are child friendly and the water is clean. The beach is shallow but the water at the end of the private jetty is deep enough to swim in. Next to the beach, there is a sauna building with a traditional wood-heated sauna. The dressing room doubles during summertime as a bedroom for two thanks to the bed sofa.
The lake offers also great opportunities for fishing since it has strong pike, perch, and bream populations. An eager fisherman can also catch a trout, a pikeperch, or an eel.
Besides from the lake, during summer and autumn time you get real local food from the forest. You can pick blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms starting from the corner of the main cottage. In July you can also buy strawberries, potatoes, organic granola, and marmalade directly from the farm situated some 600 meters away.
The cottage itself is steeped in old-fashioned villa-style. Even if the atmosphere is country-living romantic, the facilities are modern. Even such as free WiFi and a karaoke machine, besides a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor of the cottage, there are the kitchen, living room, sauna, bathroom, toilet, and dressing room/utility room. On the second floor, there are three bedrooms, one toilet, and an aula with a bed-sofa for two.
Prices from: 1082 euros/week and 422 euros/weekend. Final cleaning: 160 euros. Sets with sheets and towels are 18 euros per person or you can bring your own. Between the middle of June and mid of August, the minimum rental period is one week and the arrival/departure day can be any weekday.
