Munaniemi rental cottage features many elements of the traditional Finnish cottage idyll, but the possibility of year-round use adds lots of luxury to it. Among other things, this means electricity, running water, an indoor toilet and a shower. In addition to the electric radiators and underfloor heating, the heat-storing fireplace guarantees that the entire cottage stays warm.
Traditional characteristics of the cottage include a wood-heated sauna, a private beach and jetty and lots of space and silence. And no neighbours in sight.
The cottage is very compact: the 29 m2 ground floor has a kitchen/living room, a washroom with toilet and shower and a traditional wood-heated sauna. The pull-out sofa in the kitchen/living room provides a bed for two. The actual beds are in the loft, where there are two proper mattresses with pillows and duvets.
The cottage kitchen is equipped with all the necessary tableware for four persons and all the standard small kitchen appliances. The kitchen has a tap with both hot and cold water. The water come from the lake and we don’t recommend to drink it. The fridge also features a freezer compartment. There is no oven, but there is a good microwave and a cooker with two hotplates. For the barbecue season, the cottage has a grill next to the spacious terrace.
The cottage is situated on the south tip of a point and you can see the lake from every window. You can drive your car all the way to the yard of the cottage. The beach is well suited for children, gently sloping with a firm and sandy floor. The lake is clean and rich is exceptionally big perch. Also the population of pikes is strong.
Prices from: 434 euros/week and 240 euros/weekend. You can clean the cottage yourself or have it cleaned for 50 euros. If you order the cleaning service on site, the price is 80 euros. Between 17 June and 20 August 2017, the minimum rental period is one week and the arrival/departure day is Saturday.
