Läsäkoski offers the most versatile and largest fly fishing destination in Southern Finland. Läsäkoski is located at isthmus between two lakes: Kyyvesi and Puulavesi. We have invested a great deal for the rehabilitation and treatment of natural trout population here. Läsäkoski wild trout tempts to come here again and again. In 2016 over 1150 trout were caught and released. Läsäkoski trout is ferocious and powerful so you can expect a hard battle when you manage to get one to the end of your line. Good fishing time is from May to the end of September. Läsäkoski trout is protected, and every fish must always be released unharmed back.
It’s less than a 30 min journey to Läsäkoski from several Rock and Lake cottages. Many drives pass Läsäkoski ushering in Mikkeli direction to Kangasniemi cottages for fishing holiday.

Fly fishing for pike
Pike fly-fishing is possible from each Rock and Lake rental cottage.There is a good possibility for this form of fishing activities in the area and it is best from May to the end of June and as well during the fall months when there is a good chance to catch 5+ kg pike in shallow bays. Fly fishing for pike is rising hobby, and many have been hooked on this sort of fishing. The take of pike is memorable when it comes chasing the fly beyond meters away. Pike can fly fished also from boats and canoes. We also rent the suitable fishing kayaks (see more here). At Soukkiojärvi cabins you can book a kayak as an accommodation add-on product.
