Sleigh ride

We are recommended on Holiday Lettings by Tripadvisor.

Hiidenniemi animal Farm´s Nelli Horse introduces our guests the glory and fun of sleigh riding. Nelli is an experienced sleigh ride horse and it is safe to jump into her sleigh.

Sleigh ride in winter time is a good activity for the whole family or even for adult groups. To see how a horse is equipped before the sleigh and also experience the ride more closely, the driver will sit next to you and lets you try driving.

The trail rides through diverse landscapes, in the meadow and in the tranquility of the forest, where you will enjoy the beauty of winter and the silence of nature. Look around and listen, you may even hear and see an owl in the woods. There is a resting place on the trail, where we will stop drinking coffee or cocoa.

Have you experienced hugging the tree? During the break, feel free to hug a tree, it gives a true connection to nature and its tranquility.

Jump into the sleigh, enjoy the ride and then go on exploring the farm. Sleigh can accommodate up to 5 people at one time and the length of a sleigh ride is 60 minutes. Please be prepared to wear warm clothes in a cold weather for the sleigh ride.
