If you want to go fishing or nature photographing on Lake Kyyvesi by yourself, we offer you the possibility to rent the steady and easy-to-use Flatrock boat.
The Flatrock ferryboat is an aluminum boat and is equipped with a 9.9 horsepower Yamaha 4-stroke motor and an electric motor Motorguide Xi3 (GPS anchor) One normal anchor, solar power/two battery systems, eight rod holders, two downrigger, landing net and box for fish.

Lake Kyyvesi and Puula has official boating routes that we recommend you to follow. Flatrock boat is equipped with a Lowrance Elite FS™ 9 with Active Imaging 3-in-1 .
The rent price includes a tank of gasoline (25 liters). There are a couple of empty gasoline tanks as part of the boat’s equipment. Gasoline 98E should be used as fuel for the motor. If you haven´t previous experience with fishing equipment or fishing on lakes, we recommend a 4-hour fishing trip with a guide (490 €/group). There is the same Lowrance sonar technology in the fishing guide´s boat, and the guide advises, how to use it, and shows good fishing spots and safe boat routes on the lake. Also, you get information, on how to choose the right fishing lure color, what size fish are good to release, and which ones are suitable as a food fish.
The boat’s home harbor is by Kuvaslahti, Lake Kyyvesi. There is a parking place and bio-toilet.
This boat is a great complement to holidays by Lake Soukkio cottages Villa Soukkio, Villa Lempi, Saparoniemi, Tiilikka, Kiviniemi and Kotiranta since it is situated nearby (10 min drive) at a private harbor Kuvaslahti by Kyyvesi.
As soon as you take off from the jetty of the small Kuvaslahti harbor, owned by Rock and Lake, great fishing possibilities begin. In Kuvaslahti bay there is nice population of pikes, zander and perch.
For an additional fee of 200 euros the boat can be moved to Rock and Lake’s cottages by these lakes: Kyyvesi, Puula, Mallos, Härkäjärvi.
Normal rental period is one week, but by request the period can be changed.
